Challenge

In a corporate environment known for its conventional advertising strategies, the challenge was to depart from the norm and infuse a breath of fresh air into BlackBerry® Corporate Enterprises' marketing approach & branding efforts. The task lay in introducing two significant elements: the revolutionary Radar™ Tracking Modules and the rebirth of BlackBerry® Protect™ (formerly CylanceENDPOINT®). These introductions required a departure from the typical corporate advertising approach to captivate an audience grown accustomed to uninspiring campaigns.

Goal

The central objective encompassed two dimensions. Firstly, it was essential to introduce BlackBerry's cutting-edge Radar™ Tracking Modules in addition to the transformed CylanceENDPOINT® solution with a surge of innovation, steering clear of the usual monotony. Secondly, the project aimed to firmly position BlackBerry® as an avant-garde pioneer in the corporate arena by leveraging inventive motion design advertising. This positioning aimed to set BlackBerry® and its solutions apart from contenders, signaling a new era of corporate branding.

Solution

Our strategy to overcome the challenge of uninspiring corporate advertising hinged on harnessing the dynamism of motion design to create an engaging experience that would yield a lasting impact. For the Radar™ Tracking Modules, the solution involved crafting visually captivating 3D animations that seamlessly communicated the complex functionalities of the modules in an approachable manner, effectively translating intricacy into relatable narratives. Industry-specific demonstrations showcased the practical applicability of the technology, bridging the gap between innovation and real-world application.

The rebirth of BlackBerry® Protect™, entailed a custom-formulated series of dynamic videos that not only highlighted the solution's robust security features but also narrated its evolution. The fusion of sleek visuals and impactful messaging conveyed Cylance's advanced security capabilities while instilling confidence and fostering trust among potential clients.

By embracing this unconventional motion-first, design-driven approach, we succeeded in dismantling this traditional corporate advertising mold. This accomplishment left an indelible imprint on BlackBerry's® product launches and brand perception. Beyond elevating product visibility & market positioning, this innovative strategy solidified BlackBerry® as a paradigm trailblazer in modern corporate marketing, redefining industry norms and propelling the brand toward a dynamic, forward-thinking future.
